The SCIL program is designed to provide students with special needs with educational and behavioral support within the least restrictive environment for learning. The program offers the support of a special education teacher, speech therapist, psychologist, occupational therapist, and five paraprofessionals. Students learn at a rate that is supportive of their needs while being held to high expectations as learners. We believe all students can and will learn and are committed to this goal for all of our students.

The SCIL team is comprised of a variety of specialist to provide optimum access to education each day for the students in the program.

Hillary Brock (Mrs. Brock) is the Special Education teacher.  She is usually case manager for any students in SCIL and is responsible for academic instruction.

MJ Erickson-Eger (Mrs. E.) is the School Psychologist.  She joins the Peabody team Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the morning.  She provides counseling services, behavior management strategies, and in-class instruction on appropriate social and learning behaviors.

Jenny Muehling (Miss Jenny) is the Occupational Therapist.  Jenny is with the Peabody team on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  She provides fine and gross motor support and instruction as well as sensory opportunities.  She also provides in-class support for use of all motor skills.
